About Austin County ESD No. 2
The Sealy Fire Department, operating under Austin County Emergency Services District No. 2 (ACESD No. 2), has proudly served the Sealy community since 1930. Today, the department provides around-the-clock emergency response through a combination of career, part-time, and volunteer personnel dedicated to protecting life, property, and the well-being of the community.
Governed by a Board of Emergency Services Commissioners and supported by professional firefighters, volunteers, and administrative staff, ACESD No. 2 responds to approximately 600 emergency incidents each year, including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, rescues, hazardous materials incidents, wildland fires, and emergency medical assists.
In addition to emergency response services, the department provides fire prevention education, home safety inspections, smoke alarm assistance, station tours, and other community outreach programs designed to enhance public safety throughout the district.
