The Sealy Volunteer Fire Department has been protecting the community of Sealy since 1930. Today, the Fire Department consists of Volunteer’s and a 2-person Paid Duty Crew 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  We are funded by Donations and ACESD #2 taxes currently set at .10 per $100 value (ex. a home owner with a $100,000 valued home pays $100.00 a yr for ACESD#2 Taxes).  SVFD mission is Life Safety, Incident Stabilization and Property Conservation.  We respond to around 500 Emergency Incidents a year which includes Structure Fires, Motor Vehicle Incidents, EMS Assists, Rescue’s, Wildland Fire’s and Hazardous Materials Incidents.  The fire department offers Home Safety Inspections, Smoke Detector Installation, Fire Prevention Classes, and Tours.
